Do you know why it is important to buy travel insurance? Unfortunately one of the most misunderstood aspects of travel insurance is that it is for cancellation only. Do you know YOUR personal insurance does not cover you in a foreign country unless you have provisions in your policy for such? Do you know that if you were to be hospitalized in a foreign country without travel insurance you are responsible for payment in full?
Think about how many thousands of dollars this could be even for a one day stay. In most cases you will not be allowed out of the country until your bill is paid. If you do not have insurance and cancel a trip at the last minute you are at risk of losing the money invested in the trip. Cruise Lines, Tour Companie as well as Private Travel Insurance (has better coverage and is more reasonable in most cases) all offer coverage for a very small amount of money. EVERYONE NEEDS TO INCLUDE TRAVEL INSURANCE IN THEIR BUDGET.. NO ONE KNOWS WHAT TOMORROW WILL BRING. YOU NEED TO PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT. DO NOT BE PENNY WISE POUND FOOLISH!
